Welcome to our re-connect & re-calibrate retreat at Soul House!
The following terms and conditions are outlined to create a common base of understanding and agreement. They also include basic rules for your time on the retreat. Please read through everything to ensure you fully understand the terms and conditions of booking and participating in our retreat. Thank you in advance!
Please review the booking page for what is included in the retreat price. By registering and paying for our retreat, you agree to our terms & conditions below.
1. Reservation and Payment Policy
A €300 non-refundable deposit is due per person at the time of booking the re-connect & re-calibrate retreat to secure your spot.
The remaining amount is due no later than Sept 30, 2026.
The remaining payment can be done in one or two instalments.
When paying in one single instalment:
the full amount (minus the deposit) is due no later than Sept 30, 2026.
When paying in two instalments:
50% of the amount (incl. the deposit) is due within 6 weeks after paying the deposit, on no account later than Sept 15, 2026.
50% of the amount is due no later than Sept 30, 2026.
In case you sign up for the retreat after Sept 30, 2026, the full payment incl. deposit is due immediately to secure your spot.
Once you pay your deposit, you’ll be emailed with details on how to pay your remaining amount. Reminder emails will be sent closer to the time. The retreat must be paid prior to the event unless otherwise specified and agreed.
If you can no longer attend the retreat, Kathrin Hecht and/or Katharina Sofie Kraus will retain the deposit. If cancelled within 3 weeks of the event, a further 25% of the total sum will be retained. If cancelled within 1 week of the event, the full amount will be retained.
Full refunds are available only if we can fill your space before the event.
In the unlikely event that the retreat has to be cancelled from the organisers’ side, you will get a full refund of the payment that has been made up to the date of cancellation (incl. deposit). Expenses that are not included in the retreat package/retreat price such as costs for flights, external accommodation, and other travel expenses are not covered by the refund. Please make sure to have a travel insurance covering these costs in such an event.
2. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, retreat staff, and local customs. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the retreat without any refund of payment.
3. Quiet Enjoyment
A retreat is an experience to be enjoyed on an inner level, too. Excessive noise that disturbs other participants may result in eviction without a refund. Quiet hours during the evening and night are also to be respected. This includes phone calls and loud talking.
4. Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Guests are permitted to smoke only in designated outdoor areas during their free time. Violation of this policy will result in a cleaning fee of $100.
5. Alcohol & Intoxicating Substances
The consumption of alcohol and other intoxicating substances is not allowed during the retreat out of respect for the practices and the integrity of the group.
6. Property Use & Care
The property is to be used for residential purposes only. Guests are expected to treat the property and its contents with care and respect. Any damage or loss must be reported immediately, and guests are responsible for covering the cost of repairs or replacements.
7. Security & Access
Guests are responsible for securing the property during their stay. Soul House, its owner, staff, as well as Kathrin Hecht and Katharina Sofie Kraus are not responsible for any loss or damage to guests' personal belongings.
The property owner or designated staff may access the property for maintenance or emergency reasons. Guests will be notified in advance whenever possible.
8. Pets
Pets are not allowed unless prior arrangements have been made. Additional charges and a pet deposit may apply.
Please be aware that there are free ranging dogs and cats living on the premises.
9. Check-in & Check-out
Check-in and check-out times must be respected. Early check-in and/or late check-out may be arranged in advance and may be subject to additional charges. The exact times will be provided closer to the event.
10. Insurance Policy
All participants must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, personal injury, cancellation, loss or damage to property, and personal liability. Proof of insurance must be provided upon request.
11. Force Majeure Clause
The organisers are not liable for any delays, changes, or cancellations of the retreat occuring due to "acts of god", war, civil unrest, pandemics, government restrictions, natural disasters, or any other force majeure events. In such cases, refunds or credits for future retreats may be offered at the organisers’ discretion.
12. Cancellation by Organiser
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the retreat if the minimum number of participants is not met or for any other unforeseen reason. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund of the payment that has been made up to the date of cancellation (incl. deposit). Expenses that are not included in the retreat package/retreat price such as costs for flights, external accommodation, and other travel expenses are not covered by the refund. Please make sure to have a travel insurance covering these costs in such an event.
13. Data Protection & Privacy Policy
Your personal information is confidential and will only be used to contact you regarding the retreat. We will not share your information with any third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
14. Indemnity & Limitation of Liability
Guests assume full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the property or during activities organised by the retreat. The property owner and retreat organisers are not responsible for medical expenses or liabilities arising from such incidents. The property owner and retreat organisers are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property.
15. Complaints & Feedback Procedure
If you have any complaints or concerns during your stay, please inform us immediately so we can take appropriate measures to resolve the situation. We are committed to providing a high-quality experience and will address issues as quickly as possible.
